Interested in snagging or maintaining your very own African prince? Many African men make very attractive mates and this can be attributed to their very disciplined upbringing and pressures from families to succeed and do well in life. So after much research and personal experience, I have compiled a list of (10) necessary things to do in other to win and retain the heart of an African man.

1) Learn to cook and most importantly learn to cook his favorite native dishes. This is a must-must for any woman interested in sustaining a long lasting relationship with an African man. In Africa, food is a tremendous part of our culture and it is the same when trying to get to a man's heart.

2) Be soft and let him be in control. African men are looking for a womanly woman, and they desire women who express soft, feminine characteristics. This is not to say that a woman must be weak, no, in fact you need to be a strong woman to sustain a household with an African man, however you just have to learn to make him feel in control, I believe this is called woman's politics. Remember the phrase, "the man is the Head, but the woman is the Neck that turns the Head".

3) Be neat and tidy. This trait goes for most men, and it is another must must for African men. They like a woman who can maintain a clean household.

4) Be a strong woman. As stated earlier, it takes a strong woman to sustain a household with an African man. Although, the African man wants a woman to be soft, he also wants a woman that can run the household even in his absence. He wants a strong woman that will bear and raise smart, strong children and a woman who will stand by his side and fight by him.

5) Be a lady in the streets and a seductress in bed. It is no secret that many African men are beasts in bed and they need a woman who can keep up with them in the bedroom. However, they do not like a woman to openly display her sexuality, instead they want to be able to take her home to their families in the day time and unleash with her in the dark.

6) Care for your physical appearance and health. African men desire women who can maintain beautiful, feminine appearance even after dating for a long period of time. 10) Last but not least, Be You. African men like any other men on this planet want a woman who is real and true to herself and him.
